Hi I'm Chris

As a mixed race kid, my musical influences growing up went from Bob Marely, Jim Reeeves to Dennis Brown and even some country and there was always music blaring from our old radiogram.

The very first record I ever bought was British Hustle by Hi Tension, it cost £3.99 which back then was quite a lot on a £23 a week wage. By that stage I was seriously into soul and reggae, my influences being Greg Edward and David Rodegan whose shows I regularly taped.

I started dj'ing at a works party, after the hired dj let them down last minute and I haven't looked back since. Two years ago I joined and internet radio site after a friend asked me to listen in for support. I heard an oldskool soul show after his and was hooked as I love soul, lovers rock reggae and r&b.

I would like to thank Tony D for introducing me to the 'MORPHER' family and even more friends who, like me, just love the music...
