Before i start my real name is Richard but i've been known as Dick ever since I can remember
(which is probably about 4 weeks).
I have been doing disco's on and off for about 33 years, in my mid 40s, I started out doing disco's for friends and then progressed to working for an agency doing night clubs in the London circuit (too many to list here)
I also did hospital radio for a couple of years.
I like all types of music but jazz, funk, disco and northern soul is my main bread and butter.
Stopped doing regular disco,s late 80s early 90s, only do most now by special request.

I still have my original coffin decks (just brought another off ebay for spares)
I have records everywhere in the house.
I am in the process of doing a world record attempt of doing a disco continuous
for 144 hours 6 days , this has been planned for the last few years , just having problems getting a venue to host it, if anyone can help please let me know.
Had offers but can't afford upwards of 10,000 to hire the hall, unless i find a rich sponser.

About the show.

Although i have experience , it's so different doing a show for Morpher Radio, so
i come to appreciate the effort that fellow hosts put into there shows

I would never call myself a pro dj as i 've only ever done it as a hobby , working fulltime as well .
I seemed to do more for next to nothing because i just loved what i do, but if you are like me or are a pro I think we all have the same goal which is to spread the word of funk almighty.
