Hi Everyone,

My name's Mike Howard and I grew up listening to Robbie Vincent and Greg Edwards back in the late 70's early 80's. I began my broadcasting career on Pirate radio back in the mid 80's broadcasting for various soul stations in London including Medena Radio, Radio T.K.O. Sky fm. I stopped broadcasting for a while and turned my hand on to making music. I play drums and bass guitar(not at the same time) LOL and have had a few releases which were played by Robbie Vincent on Kiss 100 fm in the 90's, also have worked alongside Bob Jones and Lofty of chillyfunk records.

After getting tired of going round in circles with the music,I decided to go back to broadcasting on radio. I joined Solar Radio in 2002 and stayed till January 2007 presenting a Saturday night show called "The Superior Rhythm show. After leaving Solar I joined New funk radio for a while,there again things were getting stale,so I approached Debz of Morpher Radio and I am very pleased to be joining a unique radio station that plays soul,funk and jazz and I feel at home already.
Big thank you to Dave Marley for this once in a lifetime opportunity to work alongside some of the creme dela creme djs from London and the home counties.

My mentors have to be Robbie Vincent,Greg Edwards,Barrie Stone (really nice fella) and last but not least Terry Peters who once thought I was 6 foot and full of it LOL,(whilst working on Medina radio) in 1989,Cheers Terry :-)
